Weather, Man
Just look what happened this weekend...
"Comedians" ruin local news. This and more at 11."
My pal Phillip showed me around LA's channel 7 news room and I completely lost my mind. I've been on TV, movies, hung out with famous people and all that, but to be at a local news desk was a whole new world all together.
Maybe the most I've ever giggled in my life (this is the face of me completely loosing it).
I mean they let me do the weather thing! I was pointing at the map and doing the forecast (though horribly since I couldn't stop giggling).
I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's because of the intimacy of the local news. You let them into your home and you trust them to tell you what's going on. You barely trust actors to entertain you, but some body tells you if you need a jacket tomorrow and you're all ears. And suddenly (though cameras weren't rolling) that guy was ME!
I never saw myself as a news anchor, until I saw these photos of me being a news anchor.
"Moore at 11!"
